Dani Atanasov and Yanaki Yanakiev have begun defending their title in the Balkan Trophy with first place in the ERT 2 class in the 50th Rally Bulgaria. In the general standings, they finished fourth, after battling with Romanians Dan Girtofan and Tudor Marza (Skoda Fabia R5).

The ART Racing crew will start in the third round of the Balkan Rally Trophy - rally "Eskisehir" in Turkey in the end of next week. There they will fight for a new win in the class to establish them in the leading position before Monbat Rally Sliven.

Last year Atanassov and Yanakiev finished second in Monbat Rally Sliven, despite serious technical problems with the differentials of their car.
