Staykov confirms leadership with convincing success in "Stara Reka"
Plamen Staykov scored the third consecutive special stage victory this day and strengthened his leadership in the 37th rally “Sliven”. Staykov Racing Georgia's driver ahead of Orhan Avcioglu (Ford Fiesta R5) with 13.8 seconds, and third in the stage remained Skoda Fabia R5 of Dan Girtofan with a 24.9-second pass. In the general standings, Avcioglu and Girtofan exchanged positions, with the Turkish pilot on second and the third for the Romanian. The difference is only nine-tenths.

The first stage victory in 2wd catoegory was recorded by Miroslav Angelov (Peugeot 208 R2). It was faster than Tihomir Stratiev (Peugeot 208 R2) with 5.2 seconds and 9.6 seconds from Daniel Popov (Peugeot 208 R2).

Excellent adaptation with the new car makes Martin Koev. Koev and his co-driver Dimo ​​Bozukov managed to overtake the Turkish Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX crews with a stronger 4-th place in the RC 2 class.
